I have a BA from Jacksonville University. I have been a tutor for about 7 years and am level 2 nationally certified. I can tutor all levels of undergrad and below reading and writing, most music subjects, most humanities, and computer applications for PC. I love to learn. I learn just as much, if not more when I tutor as my students do. I truly look forward to every opportunity I have to help a student with his/her studies and achievement of goals. I have been a professor for remedial English classes for 2 years.

7 years tutoring at Jr. college. (Florida Gateway College) PTK member Graduated with my AA Magna Cum Laude I have taken extensive, nationally recognized tutor training classes. I want to be a tutor because I know how difficult classes can be. So many assume that I am this brilliant person because I am a tutor, but in all reality, I am just stubborn. I have used many tutors in my goals for education. If I can help a student to succeed, I want to, plus I am in college to be a teacher. What better way to prepare to learn how to teach than to be a tutor?

I am a big stage nerd. I have always been interested in plays, books, music, and theater. I also have a little country in me and love to go fishing. I have a tendency to nerd out. I am sure that you will tease me at some point over my complete and utter nerdiness. I love old musicians like Frank Sinatra and Bette Midler. I love English. A person that can construct beautiful sentences on paper can keep my attention indefinitely.
